Our Mission
Servants was started by Trent Davis in May of 2000 out of God’s calling to create an organization that could assist churches and individuals serve Christ by serving others. Our mission is to empower churches and individuals to share God’s love through acts of service.
There are under-resourced individuals and families in our own communities, across the USA, and around the world that are in need of physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. We emphasize service that builds relationships with God, our fellow volunteers, and the people we help. Through these relationships we are able to share God’s love in a way that brings about true transformation to both the volunteer and the families we serve.
For more than 20 years, Servants has served all over the United States and in seven countries around the world including Guatemala, India and Haiti.
“We see life-changing transformations in our volunteers like those who have gone on to become our staff, full or part-time missionaries, or moved into pastoral ministries. We hear the stories of the homeowners and the families we serve around the world. We receive heartfelt letters from homeowners we have served. This is why we continue to be passionate about serving Christ through serving others.” - Trent Davis, Founder/CEO

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
We are common people called to extraordinary work for the kingdom of God. As Servants of Jesus Christ, we embrace His purpose and desire to serve together, to live in community with other co-laborers in the faith, and to have fun in our efforts. Together, we long to work in an inspired environment where our efforts are bound together for the sake of His Kingdom.

The Holy Bible is our foundation. We believe it is the written word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and is the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We believe in one eternal God, Creator, and Lord of the world–Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ to be the one and only Savior, who died on the cross to pay for our sins and was resurrected on the third day as proof of God’s triumph over sin and death. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, sent by the Father to bear witness to Jesus Christ and to help Christians in their spiritual growth.
