The Healthy Homes Initiative provides home repair and maintenance services for low-income older adult, single parent and disabled homeowners in South Central Pennsylvania
Our Healthy Homes Initiative (formerly called Home Helps) completes home repair and maintenance projects for low-income homeowners with substandard living conditions in York, Lancaster, and Adams County. Our goal is to increase safety, accessibility, and affordability of housing for older adults, single parents, people with disabilities, and other under-resourced homeowners in our community. Since being established in 2007, our volunteers have completed critical repairs in over 1,200 homes.
