Our Mission
We help neighbors live safely in the homes they love by repairing the hazards that put their health, safety, and independence at risk.
The Vision
We envision safer homes and restored hope in every corner of your community.
Our Story
How We Began
Servants was born from a simple desire to serve. From the very beginning, our heart has been to demonstrate God's love through practical service and tangible home repairs.
We believe that a home should be a sanctuary—a place of dignity and safety. Yet, for many of our neighbors, physical obstacles like high tub walls or broken stairs become barriers to independence. Our volunteers don't just fix houses; they build relationships and restore hope through every ramp built and floor repaired.
As the needs of our community shifted, so did our focus. This led to our specialized 'Healthy Homes' approach, prioritizing critical home safety repairs. By mobilizing volunteers to address high-risk hazards, we enable our neighbors to age in place safely, ensuring they can remain in the homes and communities they love.
Core Values of Servants
Faith
We are grounded in unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, which guides everything we do. Our service is an expression of His love, grace, and compassion, lived out through action. We trust God to lead us, sustain us, and use our hands to restore hope and dignity in the lives of those we serve.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” — Colossians 3:23
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” — Ephesians 2:10
Connection
We believe in the power of authentic relationships. Whether with homeowners, volunteers, churches, or community partners, we foster meaningful connections that build trust, reflect mutual respect, and create a strong foundation for long-term impact. Every person matters and every relationship counts.
“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” — 1 Peter 4:8
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
Justice
We pursue biblical justice by recognizing the God-given worth of every person and working to right the inequities that prevent vulnerable individuals from living with safety, dignity, and opportunity. We stand with older adults and historically marginalized communities, advocating for fair access to housing and resources, and ensuring no one is overlooked or left behind.
“Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.” — Isaiah 1:17
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.” — Proverbs 31:8
Empowerment
We equip and uplift individuals, families, and communities to be part of the solution. Through compassionate service, education, and collaboration, we empower homeowners to remain in their homes with pride—and volunteers to serve with purpose and confidence. Everyone has something to offer, and together, we create lasting change.
“Encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” — 1 Peter 4:10
